I grew up in the Boston area after immigrating to the US from northern China. After attending college in St. Louis, Missouri, I returned to the east coast for law school. I was drawn to the area of estate planning when I externed with an estate planning solo practitioner during my third year of law school and I began my career at a small family-owned firm in the suburbs of Boston.
As an estate planning attorney, my goal is to demystify the process and provide my clients with the peace of mind that a comprehensive estate plan brings. Based on my experience, I appreciate the value of creating a plan to avoid unnecessary and costly court proceedings in the future. Beyond just providing legal documents, I am committed to building a personal connection to each client, understanding their unique needs. No plan is one size fits all and I aim to tailor each plan to meet each clients’ individual wishes. The process of creating estate planning documents can be a vulnerable experience for clients and it is a privilege to be a trusted part of the process.
Throughout my career, I have worked exclusively in the area of estate planning, probate and trust administration, Medicaid planning, and general elder law. I also have experience in filing Medicaid applications, guardianships over incapacitated individuals, and special needs planning.
Prior to joining Devine Millimet, I was an of counsel attorney at Ambrogi Law Office in Manchester where I focused on estate planning and elder law matters.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and three daughters, rock climbing, traveling, skiing, and tending to my little flock of chickens.
