I joined the trusts and estates department at Devine Millimet in January of 2024 after running my own small firm, Ambrogi Law Office, for nearly 12 years. I am happy to continue to offer my clients the same personalized service I have been providing for nearly thirty years, but now set within the context of a larger firm with the vast array of experience and expertise the Devine attorneys offer.
Over the years, I have worked with all sorts of families and situations, helping making sure that everyone from young couples to empty-nester retirees, to elderly widows and widowers, have the documents in place which assure a smooth transition of their assets at their deaths, and also make sure they put the right people in place to carry out their wishes.
One unique area that I have focused on in my practice has been the intersection between estate planning and elder law. What this means is that while working on estate planning documents with clients I can also help them understand and explore the opportunities and options to plan for the possibility of a long-term care need in future. I continue to offer this perspective to Devine’s trusts and estate clients.
I have also helped many clients over the years with the estate side of the “T&E” practice, helping to administer trusts and to open and manage probates. I have also had the opportunity to be asked to serve as a trustee or administrator/executor in a number of instances.
When not working with clients, I also enjoy contributing to the community as a volunteer. I have served in a variety of positions with the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation and the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council, and recently completed a term as the president/immediate past president of the New Hampshire Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. I also serve as a Trustee of the Episcopal Church of New Hampshire, as well as a warden of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Goffstown. Other activities I have been involved in include being asked to serve on the transition committee for incoming Mayor Jay Ruais, and spending ten years as a member of the Manchester school board (2010-2020). I also currently serve as a member of the board of the Mary Gale Foundation.
My husband and I have lived in Manchester for just over 30 years and raised our three children here. We love living in New Hampshire and try to take full advantage of the outdoors in all seasons, including bicycling (we are avid tandem cyclists), gardening, hiking, and both alpine and Nordic skiing. When not busy outside, I love to spend my down time reading and doing needlework.
