Planning for the end of one’s life can often be an overwhelming and emotionally fraught process. As a trusts and estates attorney with over a decade of drafting experience, I’ve made it my mission to navigate clients through this difficult process and implement a plan that accomplishes their goals after their deaths, while minimizing the complexities and expenses of estate taxes and probate costs.

I help clients identify and plan for their individual estate needs, draft the documents to meet those needs—including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and other more specializied planning such as special needs trusts—and walk their families through probate and trust administration after the client has passed.

I also devote a portion of my practice to Medicaid assistance—including preparing and submitting applications. This area can be particularly confusing, as it is rife with misinformation. Having an experienced attorney on your side ensures you avoid bureaucratic obstacles while maximizing your benefits. This can be particularly crucial when it comes to the stress and upheaval of moving to a long-term care facility.

In short, I’m devoted to being a trusted partner and guide for my clients and their families as they deal with these particularly stressful life events—simplifying and clarifying the complex legal processes that surround them.

On a personal note, I’ve been a resident of New England my entire life. I grew up in Massachusetts, attended Roger Williams University in Rhode Island for my undergrad, and received my Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Connecticut. After law school, I resided in New Hampshire before returning to Massachusetts. Today, my husband and I are delighted to be raising our three children in my childhood home, along with our dog and our flocks of ducks and geese.
