I focus my legal practice on serving the needs of businesses, large and small, in commercial real estate, finance and general corporate work. I advise entrepreneurs and privately-held companies on a wide range of business law matters, including start-ups, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, licensing, business transactions, and the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts. I also provide businesses with local counsel representation, helping them navigate compliance with financing, conveyance, and zoning laws and regulations. Notably I served as local counsel for a developer in purchasing property in the Manchester Millyard, leasing the building to a local university, resolving land use issues and facilitating relations with City Hall, and redeveloping the property to construct a state-of-the-art new parking garage.

Additionally, I advise clients on real estate matters, including purchase, financing, sale, leasing and development of commercial and residential real estate. I enjoy working with stakeholders to create and develop housing solutions and have worked on several multifamily and mixed use developments across New Hampshire to help address the vital need for more affordable housing.

Finally, I enjoy helping clients achieve their policy objectives at City Hall and the New Hampshire Statehouse. I served three terms as an elected official in Manchester, specifically as a city alderman representing Ward Six, and during that time worked for, advised and served as a delegate for political campaigns at the local, state, federal and presidential levels. After concluding my work in public service and politics, I worked as the Head of Government Relations for a law firm utilizing my unique understanding of state law, politics, business landscape and regulatory environment to represent clients in the energy, gaming, transportation and healthcare industries. I am very proud of my bipartisan work over the years with elected officials and key oral healthcare stakeholders to bring dental Medicaid coverage to New Hampshire residents.

I reside in Manchester with my wife, Kate, and four young children – Heath, Beau, Quinn and Tess. I am active in our community volunteering on municipal boards, coaching youth soccer and little league baseball, and serving as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees for The Mill Falls Montessori Public Charter School.
