For the past ten years I have advised clients regarding all areas of labor and employment law. I routinely provide instruction and guidance regarding common trends and best practices to ensure my clients manage their employees successfully to cultivate a healthy work environment. I have a wealth of experience in navigating clients through the reasonable accommodation process and investigating potential misconduct in the workplace. I advise managers to effectively discipline employees and to generate successful performance improvement plans when necessary. My robust litigation experience defending management in claims of discrimination, wrongful termination, and whistleblower reprisal informs my advice to clients and limits the number of conflicts that result in litigation.
It brings me great satisfaction to help clients generate solutions to problems that distract their energies from their businesses’ primary goal. Every labor and employment situation is unique and requires both scrutiny and compassion.
I review Employee Handbooks and policies. I consult regarding misconduct, performance, time and attendance issues, investigations and benefit disputes. I am experienced in advising management regarding labor unions and facing unfair labor practice filings. I provide training and resources for all levels of management that empowers clients to resolve employment issues effectively.
