Hanna May

As a member of Devine Millimet’s litigation practice group, I help businesses and individuals in a variety of civil litigation matters in the areas of complex commercial litigation, employment issues, family disputes and guardianship appointments, probate disputes, real estate matters and school law issues. I serve my clients by counseling them on litigation avoidance strategies and when necessary fiercely advocating for their interests in court proceedings.
 
I have helped my clients succeed by obtaining injunctive relief, favorable settlements, and advantageous zoning decisions. I have represented one of the nation’s largest telecommunications carriers in complex commercial real estate disputes. I have provided guidance to leading independent educational institutions on employment and serious misconduct issues. I have also assisted my clients with Department of Labor audits.
 
Before, joining Devine Millimet, I worked at a large New Hampshire law firm where I developed a diverse litigation practice. During law school, I worked as a legal intern at Calvin Klein where I addressed intellectual property issues. I was also an intern at the United States’ Attorneys’ Office in Concord, New Hampshire where I gained insight into federal practice and criminal law.
 
I grew up in Wolfeboro, NH and I currently live in Manchester, NH. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, skiing, listening to and making podcasts, and spending time with friends and family. I am a member of the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bar Associations and the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association.
