- Represent an area agency for the developmentally disabled that merged with a failing community mental health center, involving non-profit, tax, real estate, employment and other corporate law issues.
- Successfully represent two Medicaid-funded agencies for the mentally ill and developmentally disabled in protracted efforts by the State to revoke their licenses and force large Medicaid reimbursements.
- Assist numerous clients in compliance and Medicaid billing audits by state and federal authorities and the negotiation of fraud and over-billing settements.
- Represent two area agencies for the developmentally disabled targeted for forced merger by the State in assessing their legal rights and assisting them in negotiating merger terms and general representation through the merger process, including gaining merger approval from the Charitable Trusts Division of the State Department of Justice and cy pres approval from the Probate Court.
- Advise Board of Directors on non-profit corporate governance.
