The Patent, Trademark & Licensing team at Devine Millimet assists clients in the comprehensive protection and management of their intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. In addition to patent prosecution and litigation before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and through our network of associates in foreign jurisdictions, we provide prior art searches, patentability evaluations, and validity and infringement opinions. We also have the experience and resources both to bring, and to defend against, patent infringement suits, including seeking relief through expedited hearings.

Other services provided include copyright registration and enforcement, preparation of technology transfer agreements, and formation of joint ventures. We are frequently called upon to address the intellectual property issues involved in financings, equity investments and mergers and acquisitions.
