Chambers USA Survey Ranks Devine Millimet Attorneys

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire - Thirteen attorneys in seven practice areas at Devine Millimet received major recognition in Chambers USA, the world-famous guide to law firms and lawyers. Each year Chambers USA researchers interview a vast range of lawyers and their clients to determine the strengths and reputations of U.S. attorneys. Results from this research are compiled to create a listing of the top lawyers in the country.

Chambers notes, "Client's value [Devine Millimet's] practical approach to resolving business issues." Chambers ranks attorneys based on their technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment, and other qualities most valued by clients.

Three attorneys at Devine Millimet received the highest ranking by Chambers: Steve Cohen, in the Corporate/Commercial and Corporate/Commercial Tax practice areas; Camille Holton Di Croce, Corporate/Commercial: Finance; and Jon B. Sparkman, Corporate/Commercial: Tax.

Five practice groups within the firm also received high rankings along with several attorneys including: Corporate/Commercial: David H. Barnes and Steve Cohen; Labor & Employment: Mark T. Broth; Real Estate: Karen S. McGinley and Susan V. Duprey; and Litigation: General Commercial: George Moore, Elaine M. Michaud, Alex J. Walker, the firm's current president, and Ovide Lamontagne.

Clients value George Moore as "a solid, business-oriented all-rounder", and a “confident, thorough, and hard-working attorney". Other sources note Ovide Lamontagne has a "vast scope of knowledge and skillful performance in court," and commented that Mark Broth was "an intelligent, experienced and capable litigator."

Chambers also recognized Peter G. Beeson, as "a practical and straightforward lawyer who represents law firms, businesses and individuals in environmental disputes." and Daniel Will as a "growing star of the firm" for his commercial litigation practice.
