Steve is a shareholder of the firm and represents business owners and high net worth individuals and their families in their business and estate planning needs. He devotes a significant portion of his practice to mergers and acquisitions - assisting clients who are selling their business or buying a business. With over 25 years of experience as a business counselor, combined with his background as both a CPA and having a Masters Degree in Taxation, Steve assists clients in addressing every aspect of the deal - from planning and papering the transaction to signing documents and thereafter assisting clients in updating their estate planning documents and addressing clients' estate planning needs.
Steve co-authored the Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont Limited Liability Company Forms and Practice Manual (published 1999, updated annually). He has been a member of the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants since 1980.
Steve is an accomplished upland game and duck hunter and enjoys golfing, hunting and fishing escapades with both clients and family. A longtime avid NASCAR fan, Steve believes that engaging in recreational activities with clients enhances his abilities to communicate with clients at informal settings and allows for frank and candid discussions with clients.
