Robert Dewhirst is a shareholder of the firm with over 27 years experience in the trial department and also chairs the firm's Insurance Defense Practice Group. Bob's practice includes the representation of insurance companies, municipal corporations and large self-insured companies in the areas of insurance, construction, technology and professional liability. In addition to his active trial practice, he frequently sits as a mediator and an arbitrator in both court-ordered and private ADR sessions.

Bob was a member of the New Hampshire Supreme Court Professional Conduct Committee from 1992 to 2001. He is a frequent speaker on professional liability issues and law firm risk management.

Bob serves as the current Chair of Devine, Millimet's Insurance Defense Department.
