Paul is a shareholder of the firm and heads the Workers' Compensation Group. He practices in the area of workers' compensation defense. Paul represents self-insured companies, trusts and insured employers throughout the State of New Hampshire. Paul has focused his practice on the defense of workplace injuries on the behalf of employers in state and federal administrative agencies and courts.

Paul was chosen as one of the best workers' compensation defense lawyers in New Hampshire by New Hampshire Magazine in 2002. As the editor of the New Hampshire Workers' Compensation Manual, Paul has authored yearly updates of the manual since 1995 and is widely recognized as one of the leading authorities on workers' compensation law.
