David is a shareholder and former two-term President of the firm who focuses his practice in the areas of healthcare and municipal finance. David provides corporate advice to the firm's hospital and other healthcare clients. He serves as general counsel to Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital, the State's largest and only teaching hospital and as general counsel to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Alliance, the largest regional healthcare delivery system in the New Hampshire/Vermont area. He is an adjunct member of the faculty at Dartmouth Medical School and has consistently been named as one of the State's leading healthcare lawyers in both Woodward & White's "Guide to the Best Lawyers" and Business NH Magazine.

As the principal bond lawyer in the only New Hampshire-based firm certified to act as bond counsel by the Bond Buyer, David has acted as bond counsel to scores of New Hampshire towns, school districts and village districts, to many cities, to most of State's counties and to the Business Finance Authority. He also frequently serves as underwriters counsel.
