Andy is a shareholder of the firm, practicing primarily in the area of civil litigation. Andy has 30 years of trial experience litigating insurance coverage and civil matters, including products liability, industrial and construction site accidents and professional liability matters. He also represents plaintiffs in personal injury, medical malpractice and other matters.
Andy has an extensive appellate practice as well. He is best known in the legal community for having represented the plaintiffs in the seminal case in New Hampshire regarding hedonic damages. Andy has to his credit over 70 other published decisions from the New Hampshire Supreme Court, including Meaney v. Rubega., 142 N.H. 530 (1997) and Sisson v. Jankowski., 148 N.H. 503 (2002), and from the United States District Court and in the First Circuit Court of Appeals, including U.S. Healthcare, Inc. v. Healthsource, Inc. . and Hugel v. Milberg, Weiss, Bershad, Hynes & Lerach, LLP, et al. He has been described in statewide publications as "an appellate ace."
Andy is referenced in The Best Lawyers in America published by Woodward/White, Inc. He has also been cited by his peers as "the smartest lawyer you know" in a survey taken by New Hampshire Magazine in 2003. He was honored by the New Hampshire Bar Association for distinguished service to the profession for his volunteer work.
